XBox 360 Tearing Via VGA Cable

Sorry about bumping this again!!

Forget about the tearing but is it possible to convert from VGA to HDMI and would the quality of the picture decrease at all?

Would I get the full picture controls rather than the more limited VGA settings on my TV?

Has anybody used the Tri Link Switcher or the XtremeMac XtremeHD 4 Port HDMI Switcher or perhaps have any other recommendations?

The HDMI Tri Link Switcher is only ?24:97 in Gameseek now.
