Nintendo USB Wi-Fi Connector - Your thoughts?

I used to "take advantage" () of my next-door neighbour's open Wi-Fi connection whenever I wanted to play my DS online, but it looks like he may have cottoned on and locked it, so it's looking increasingly like I'll have to shell out for one of these things.

Anybody on the forum own one? If so, please give me the 411 - is it worth owning? Good or bad? Easy to set-up and use or not worth the hassle? etc.

Your thoughts and views would be very much appreciated.

No, bad, not worth the hassle.

You're better off buying a wireless router - discount sellers of reconditioned units have been mentioned here before and you can pick one up for about ?17 delivered (search my posts).

    Stroller.

Agreed, wast of money. Buy a proper router for a few quid more, much better investment, plus you don't need to keep your power hungry PC on just to play on the Wii/DS/360/PS3

For what it does, it worked well, unless like me you have a wired network aswell (eg 360 online). It disrupted any other network I had so I had to uninstall it and reset up the network everytime I wanted to play on the 360. One time, reinstalling the connector, my PC crashed corrupting windows to the point where I had to reinstall everything. Never used the thing since. Not recommended.
