Transferring PS3 Saves/Games

Hi forum,

Does anybody know a way to transfer PS3 saves from one PS3 to another? Also, how do you transfer games that you've paid for and downloaded? I thought it might work the same way as the 360 - just redownload - but I've noticed some games (such as Calling All Cars) have disappeared from the PS Store

To copy saves, you need to copy then to another storage media, like an external HD or USB pen drive.

With the games you have downloaded, look in your download list and it will give you the option to download it again.

Cool thanks! Does the 'download list' stay with your user account, no matter which PS3 it's installed on?

There is also a backup entire hard drive option in the system menu somewhere if you attach a big enough USB hard drive.

Yes, until you have downloaded the game 5 times.
