Hey man, if you want to, I can get you a NEW MINT MODDED Q (region free DVD playback + PAL fix, JAP/US games capable, with a transformer to 220 Volts) Its from a friend's store, atm I'm om Holiday, but I JUST asked his sister who's also here. 500,00 Euro she said (+ transport from Belgium). I know, it's A LOT to spend on an 'old' console... I paid 650 for that in their shop about two years ago I think. I can always install a regular Viper for an extra 25,00 Euro. You calculate what it'll cost you in AUS $ and you'll probably lose interest LOL. Give a shout if you need it.

Thanks but thats probably a bit too much for me to justify spending on a 5 year old machine

Hi, I need some Q help,

I have a Q now, and have just got a Geniune Gamecube component cable,
I can get picture for games. but when I put in a DVD I get no picture/signal.

I know it is playing because I can hear the soundtrack and skip chapters etc,

Any idea why picture for games, but not DVD?

            This is mentioned further up.

Best connection for dvd playback is s-vhs. This is due to the GC part of the Q having a seperate AV output from the dvd part. Sucks i know...
