Reasons to Buy an Xbox 360

I've just seen a good deal on an Xbox360, however I am unsure whether there is a sufficient variety of games to justify my outlay at this time.

I know there are loads of Shooters / Driving Games. I'm not the most ardent fan of these genres, (I do tend to enjoy adventure / platform type games) however what else is there on the 360 at the moment or on the horizon that would make a purchase a good idea.

    Thanks in advance.

I'm not into racers/shooters either generally, but Oblivion and Gears of War were enough to convince me of what the 'next gen' can provide (Gears of War in particular gives a great example of the kind of experiences we can expect from the likes of RE5).
Kameo, Dead Rising and Tomb Raider Legends are all great titles which are pretty cheap these days, the latter going to become even better when the downloadable Anniversary packs come out.

Arguably, the Xbox 360 has the brightest future line-up too however if you are still unsure after reading the list of games I provided for you (I listed them off the top of my head) then you may wish to wait until after summer in case of details regarding the new model / system as well as the news at E3 or further games related events.

If I had to choose between all three formats right now, the Xbox 360 is the clear winner even if it is (still) a rather unreliable piece of hardware at the moment.
