how to get stuff from the US if the retailer wont ship here?

yo!
ive heard of a few companies who will forward goods onto you from retailers if they dont ship to your part of the world?

A friend of mine is after some shoes from the states, and the retailer wont ship to the UK. I wanna help her out, so does anyone know any companies that could forward the shoes onto her?

I might be imagining it, but im sure there are companies out there offering this service, so any info would be much appreciated
