How do you guys erase DVDs in XP?

Is there a dvd erase built into XP? It's annoying having to open Nero each time. How do you do it if you haven't got Nero? I feel I should be able to right click on it in My Computer and press Erase.....

I think it appears in an option in that little pane on the left hand side of the window.

Open the actual DVD in windows and it should be there

it has cd erase but not dvd natively unfortunately, vista does though....

If you're running Nero then you should have the option of erasing with InCD.
Oddly it doesn't install by default, but for the very task you mention, I find it indispensable.

This caught me out the other day on a PC without any burning software... XP itself only writes and erases to CDs
