Going to get this so be and the bro can play together on it... does anyone know if a second Wii Remote is needed for multiplayer? I heard things about it not being needed as you basically use the DS as a controller. I only have 1 Wii Remote, wondering if I'l need to buy a second.

Well if your using your ds as a control then its fine as the other player can use the remote.
You can mix & match with either ds's or remotes. -
Good to know, didn't want the game to come and I run into problems like that!
