Hi,
This is the problem, my TV only has 1 HDMI, Componant + VGA socket on, i have my PS3 hooked up to the HDMI and a componant switch box which looks after the 360, Wii and the Virgin Media HD box. Since i have set this up like this i have been getting glitching from the virgin box (was originally setup using HDMI), and found out today it will only play the HD on demand stuff through the HDMI.
Ideally i want to connect both the TV + PS3 to the HDMI, and want a singular audio output to my surround (Pref Optical), can anyone suggest a cost effective switch box solution, or any set up ideas? With regards to sound currently 360 + PS3 is sharing an Optical cable to the surround (pain having to switch over everytime), tv connected just with standard audio L+R, but my surround also has a Coax in. Is there such a thing as a Optical Multi Switcher as this would resolve my audio probs?
Regards
Langley
