Arcade game like house of the dead but with swords!

What's the name of that arcade game which plays similar to house of the dead but gives you a sword peripheral to slash the baddies? I played it ages ago but can't think of the name!!

There are a couple - I was playing one the other day in a Namco arcade near me here in Japan, I have some video footage of it somewhere so I'll double check. I'm pretty sure the one I play is made by Namco. It has a large square sort of gate thing that registers the movement of the sword - which here is a rubber thing that looks more like a bloody pen-knife.
*edit* I'll hop on the train in the next coupla days and take a piccie of it if you like, ahh looks like it is that Mazan game, complete with plastic rock.

But yeah ive pleayed a couple wit ha sword, bit wierd but fun i guess.

Tsurugi - seen it a couple of times in the UK. It's a bit rubbish.

there was a makken arecade game.......not the X version though, they used a few of the characters and elements from the original and incorperated them into the dreamcasts"own" X version
