    Sending consoles in the post

    Hey all,

Silly question time...roughly how much would you say postage is on a N64???

I've decided my one just doesnt get played at all anymore so it's time to sell up only I dont know how much to stick on the price to cover postage.
I've looked on Ebay & the postage rates seem pretty random so I just wondered what you lot had paid to send yours when you had sold them.

I'm thinking probably sending it Royal Mail Special Delivery if that makes any difference??
Oh & it's fully boxed as well.

Thanks for any help it's appreciated.

I sent a PS2 slimline in the post for fixing a couple of months ago. It was around about ?4 for recorded delivery. I would think that an N64 is around about the same weight, possibly lighter. Then again, you've got all the accessories...

I would say that special delivery is a bit pointless. 1st class mail is meant to arrive next day, anyway. Special is just a guarantee. You get about ?30 insurance on recorded delivery, too. As long as you send reasonably early in the day, it'll get there next day.
