Slick mech combat games - suggestions?

I adored the fast-paced futuristic combat of the Zone Of The Enders games. The whole aesthetic, from the hyper-stylised mechas and their neon bullets to the fast paced close combat slash slash slash and you're boom.
If you get what I mean.

So I was wondering if you've anything else to recommend to me?
I only have a GC, DS and a PS2 (US but with swapdiscs) at the moment, but I'd be welcome to hear suggestions on other platforms too, especially the 360 as I'm still contemplating getting one once I have some more money.

Macross: The Super Dimension Fortress isnt bad, partricularly if your a fan of the anime and familiar with the story.

heard good things about A.C.E. Another Century's Episode (1 and 2), got the first one but havent tried it yet, despite it sitting on my shelf for a year.

ZoE are my fav games, but i also liked Robot Alchemic Drive. Not slick and you have to move each mech arm and legs independently - but nice game.

well if you do get a 360 eventually. i recommend wartech senko no ronde. It reminds me a whole lot of zoe but also being an excellent beat-em-up shooter. Its completly fresh.
