    Few questions about GBA SP

I'm going to Las Vegas/LA etc shortly, and will most probably buy a GBA SP at the airport. A few questions:
    1) Will I have to charge it before I use it, like a mobile phone? If I don't, what's the battery life and will it damage it?
    2) Does this lithium battery last forever (well you know, 50 years or so!!), and how long will it last after a full charge?
    3) If I want to charge it in the USA, can I use a simple plug adaptor like I do for all other electrical items?

    Thanks!

    1) You dont have to charge it before playing as far as i know but id recommend charging it before playing. I did anyway but im sure its better to do so rather than playing straight away.

    2) The lithium battery will last for something mad like 500 charges. Thats quite a lot so im sure it will last you for as long as you use it. I think it lasts around 10 hours but correct me if im wrong anyone as its an educated guess.

    3) If you want to charge it in the US then its no problem but in the UK you will need to charge it with a stepdown transformer.

Sorry if any of that is wrong but it is late

I think he means buying one at the airport in this country before going out Mike...

      1) Yes, about 10 hours with light, about 16 hours without light.
      2) No, and eventually you will have to replace it (god knows how long in the future though).
      3) You'll need a stepdown (or in this case a stepup) to use the charger in the US whilst you are there. The charger will be expecting 240v you see, and US uses 110v instead.
