XBox chip help

First things first, I'm a complete newbie when it comes to messing with consoles, that's why I got someone else to mod my XBox. Thing is, I dunno what chip he put in my machine and I lost his contact details so I can't even ask him. I haven't got the proper screwdrivers to take my Xbox apart either, I just know it can boot import games and backups. The dashboard is the default green thing too.

I'm just interested in all this cool stuff you can do with the XBox, like running emulators for example. Can I do anything with this setup, not knowing what my chip is and all that?

If you got it done recently, then probably.

If you need to work out what your chip is, Evolution-X ia able to identify mod chips. The checksums are stored in it's config file. You might need to find a more complete/up to date list of checksums though.
