Shipping PS3 - UK to Canada. Best price?

I've been procrastinating over sending my dead PS3 back to VG+ and visiting the Post Office today I discovered why:

• International Datapost - from 2 days, tracked - ?85.20
• Global Priority - from 3 days, tracked - ?79.10
• International Standard - from 5 days, not tracked - ?76.55
• International Economy - from 28 days, not tracked - ?59.10

I was quoted these same prices at the counter as I just got from the Parcel Farce website. I have to say I'm a bit gob-smacked - I'm sure the original shipping wasn't so much when I bought the console, and I guess I was mentally prepared for about ?25 or ?35 and 10 days but not ?60 or ?80 and a month.

Does anyone have any better suggestions? Right now a holiday in Toronto is looking cost-effective. :/

I sent one back a few months ago, I paid about £50 give or take a couple of quid via Parcel2go iirc. They are basically a middle man for the big boy couriers. It was picked up from me and delivered in Canada by Fedex and took roughly 36 hours iirc, with comprehensive tracking data every step of the way.
