    PS2 controller on 360

I have a PS2 -> USB convertor that I use with MAME, could it work on the 360 too? I don't want to have to hunt down a DOA4 stick!

I'm pretty sure they're releasing a Hori 'official' VF stick for when it releases (Assuming that's what you're after it for). I'm sure I saw it mentioned, though I'm not sure where I saw it.

Can't answer your other question I'm afraid - not sure how you'd configure the inputs?

I've just picked up the Street Fighter Anniversary pack for the Xbox and can't face playing Third Strike on the 360 pad. I already have a couple of sticks for the PS2 and don't want to have to buy another.

I'm 99.9999999% sure that your usb adapter won't work with the 360 but there is nothing stopping you from giving it a try!

It won't work sadly. Although the 360 inputs are USB, controllers will only intergrate with the 360 software if they include Microsoft's super-duper pain-in-the-arse you-have-to-buy-our-controllers-so-nur-nur-de-nur-nur code.

Basically it needs to have this logo on it:

            Boo-urns!

There is a converter. I have one, and it works fine with no lag. It is called an XFPS, and can be found here:

It works great, and I'm very pleased with mine. There are three downsides:

              1) It needs a wired pad (I had one anyway)
              2) Even with the wired pad plugged in, the headset does not work. So for voice, you need a wireless headset (I had one anyway).
              3) It isn't cheap.

1 and 2 weren't issues for me, but would be for a lot of people. As for 3, well it means I can use my PS2 arcade sticks, which means I don't have to have the expense or storage issues of another stick.

As a "bonus", you can use keyboard+mouse controls (this is what the thing was designed for...)

Ha ha, "I was saying Boo-urns."

oh yeah and the XFPS apparently works with guitar hero, so you can play multiplayer and not have to spend another 70 quid if you already have a ps2 one

Though this isn't related to the software, Sega noted that Hori is planning to release a fighting stick for the game in the US.
That piece also suggest that we'll find out finally at E3 whether or not to expect online play.

I am after one of these converters for PES, can anyone tell me if you can plug a ps2 multitap in to get multiple controller support? I only play pro evo with friends so one PS2 pad is no good to me. I have a wired 360 controller and a wireless headset. Any suggestions? Cheers.
