XBox Media Centre Help

Just gone to 'XBMCScripts' on my recent-ish T3CH build of XBMC, and when i click it it says 'adding categories' then just locks up every time
This was working fine a few weeks ago, and i find this kind of thing a nightmare to get my head around, it's taken me ages to get this comfortable with installing and using Media Centre full stop.

Basically i need you guys' help and advice, does anyone know what may be causing this and if deleting the save file or something in file manager or anything like that may help?
Or would i be better off just deleting this whole build, and downloading the most recent stable build (anyone know which one this is??)?
Secondly, when deleting an old build, should i delete anything else from my Xbox before installing a new one (save/config files anywhere)?

Lastly, and kinda unrelated, is there any software or programme that tidies up/defrags an Xbox hardrive in a hard modded machine? I have a 160gb HD installed and am wondering whether it needs a bit of a spring clean.

Any help/ advice greatly appreciated

You'd probably be better off just wiping it out and starting from scratch. I don't think there are any defragmenting tools as the xboxes fatx file system theoretically doesn't need one. Mind you, I did read this a long time ago, it may not be the case anymore.

Thats the probs with svn builds - they'll work on some boxes and glitch on others - the latest stable build is 2.0.1 FAT - works on em all.
Theres no defrag utility for the drives - and you should be fine deleting the old build and slapping in the new - each one uses it's own data files. Hope this helps....
