    PSX av imputs

Anyone got any ideas about this?
I have two tv's a lcd downstairs and a crt upstairs they both can display NTSC
I got a PSX and it came with s-video cable i've never used s-video before and it took a while to figure the lcd out i have to enable the s-video to work though the tv's menu to get av output this is ok
I want to use the PSX upstairs but the tv doesn't have a s-video conection only 1 scart the PSX also has composite red/yellow/white i've tried a scart conector block and an s-video to scart block and i can't get any output from the PSX
The PSX doesn't have standard sony playstation av ports
I've gone though all the channels on the tv i get nothing any ideas?

It's unlikely that TV supports S-Video over Scart. Get a proper Scart cable.

      s-video

So something like a s-video to scart cable as theres no scart conection on the PSX?

Oh you mean the Japan-only PSX DVR unit? In that case, does it have a Composite output? Bottom line is your TV won't do S-video, but I should think the PSX would have some way of using Composite.

          Psx

Yep a PSX not ps1 it has the composite plugs and i've used a scart block that you get with xbox/wii to get it into the scart socket
This works with dc/wii/ps2/xbox two of these are imports but nothing happens?
I'll take a picture of the av outputs in a bit
