What's the best cleaning materials for getting rid of light scratches on a PSP?

    Anyone got any suggestions?

I've tried some special cleaning spray for use on glasses as well as a glasses cloth but they don't seem to get the job done and the cloth just seems to rub more dust into it causing even more scratches. I've heard that Ipod cleaners work well with it - there's one product called iCleaner which can be bought from a US based company, but I'd rather ask around here to see if anyone uses something entirely different.

Also, I need to get my PSP open to clean out the dust particles that somehow got in there (never opened it up myself so I'm curious as to how it got in there in the first place)

    Cheers.

    Brasso and wire wool.*

Wire wool? Now why didn't I think of that?

Oh I know, because I'm not an idiot....

Anyone with a less stupid idea to contribute?

How does that work then? Might give toothpaste a try.

The best thing to use is stuff like Displex Display Polish.

There are quite a few brands available. I've used Apple Sauce myself but you are paying for the brand with that one. I'm not sure if there is much variation between brands but I used this as it is always being recommended and I didn't think it was worth risking making it worse for the sake of a few quid.

Another vote fro Displex. It cleaned up my PSP like a treat. Mobilefun have it for sale and it's not too expensive.
