Joy Box or Proper Arcade Stick for original X-box??

    Hey guys,

I find I'm using my original X-box now for pretty much Emulation duties only & the standard pads are utter crap for anything that requires diagonal aiming

So I was just wondering wether I should get a Joybox convertor from Play Asia & use my PS2 Hori Arcade Stick or should I look for a proper dedicated X-box Arcade Stick from Hori or the like???

    Thanks in advance

i have a magicbox, and it's worked with everything i've tried with it except dreamcast sticks (only supports 4 buttons with those). it also worked fine with my old ps1 namco stick - i know a few converters had trouble with digital-only controllers (probably because the xbox/cube were built to expect analogue sticks whereas the ps2 works with ps1 accessories anyway).

as for decent xbox-specific arcade sticks, there's the hori EX which looks similar to the other hori sticks, and there's this one i've seen which is based on the saturn astro city stick.

as you'll notice, both are out of stock, but the links are just for reference/ebay/etc

but i'd think the converter route is your best bet, especially if space is a premium. also, i've noticed no lag issues with the magicbox even in heated streetfighter matches and the like.

Hmmm perhaps a magicbox id best as recommended above.
I use my old Japanese Saturn Arcade stick for emus (the one with the nice pink and bliue buttons) and it works a treat. Only prob is on certain emus you will have to use pad two - for things like exiting emu etc. as some emus require pushing the analogue sticks in.

X-Arcade? Works great on my Xbox (purely still around for emulation).
