Can anybody with an 17" iMac 800 mhz superdrive please

I have been back & forth between Apple & PCWorld & neither will help me out with the installer discs for the 17" iMac 800 mhz superdrive.
I'm really stuck as I have no imac discs, can someone please lend them to me or copy them or sell them to me.
I've paid for a computer with no operating system, no speakers and a broken keyboard AND just learn't it was registered to someone last August, so on top of everything else, it has 1 month of warranty left.
My ?1000 "bargain" dosen't seem that great anymore.
Really need some help, reply or PM me.

keyboards are pretty cheap as is the operating system, you still have a fairley good deal as the 800mhz model is stll a fair bit more, ive said it before the operating system is very cheap to pick up sending a copyed disk amounts to pirecy though.

keep trying with pcturd though as they owe you them discs, they really are a crap shop i rember trying to buy a firewire cd burnre from them and they tried to tell me i needed usb 2 ehhh

I don't see it as piracy, especially as both Apple & PCWorld have said my best bet is to try & copy or borrow them from someone else. The operating system is included in the price & should have come with the it. I wouldn't really call ?50 for a replacement keyboard "Cheap".
Also, taking in to account the ?1000 for my iMac, if I were to buy the Keyboard, installer discs, speakers & a 12 month warranty I could've gotten the 1GHZ iMac 17" Superdrive for cheaper.

If you've paid for it and it is included with the system, you have every right to own those discs - legally. Turn up with the system and tell them they have it back and remind them they broke the TDA...

I have been back to PCWorld about 5 times, last time I was told on the phone they were going to swap it. But I would have to take it to Solihull, just as I was leaving they phoned back & told me to forget it as Solihull had none in stock, instead I should take it to Coventry for a swap.
So I erased all my work and took it back to the shop only to be told they wouldn't swap it, they kept me in the shop for 2 hours all muttering about me - as if I had done something wrong.

A lot of places (online and offline) have a complaints policy which amounts to: "ignore and inconvenience poeple until they go away". Don't give up! From what I gather they owe you those discs and you have every right to be a mardy git with the place until you get them.

Yes, but the point is I have given up. I can't waste any more time chasing these people who obviously won't oblige me. I was sorta hoping someone here could help with the discs.
We can go back & forth on who's in the right, but at the end of the day if they don't have them, I can't have them.
I appreciate all your thoughts on the matter, but this is really about having to source these discs elsewhere.

Anybody here work in a PCWorld?

also, this is why I need them...

I have a retail OSX, but the only version of OS9 that will work on my iMac is on those installer discs. Also, the discs come with a Hardware Test which is different for every machine.
I have about 8 original OS9 discs (from 9 - 9.2.2) but none will install either on a separate partition or as part of "classic" - ie on the same partition as OSX.
The installer discs have a boot rom that is specific to my computer, without these discs it will not install.
I've tried eMac, old iMac and Mini Tower discs none will install.
I am using OSX, but I use OS9 alot at work, which is why I need them.
