    Can someone recommend me a decent componant switcher!

    I'm after one that supports and switches 3 to 4 componant cables.

    The farmer one I got is utter ****e!

    Actually 3 is enough but I'm being greedy for a 4th one but mainly for the sound from the Dreamcast.

    I was thinking of the Joytech Xbox 360 Control Centre 540C as it's quite cheap.

        I read somewhere that these were Joytech Xbox 360 Control Centre 540C were only crap with Wii's but apparently there's a fix for it now...

          How about.......

          If you want a decent but very economical passive lossless device then look out for the B-Tech BT25 AV Switch.

          I have one & see no loss. I run it like this :

          Component-> Phono Out 1
          -------------------------
          Red->Red X3
          Green->Yellow X3
          Blue->White X3

          Theres one here ?

          You could always trial it before going for an expensive one?

          Good luck!

            Even though you have problems with yours, I'm using two Farmer component switchers chained together and it works like a charm.

            First one has: 360, PS3 and 'other'.
            second has: Wii, PS2 and Gamecube.

            Apparently these units can be problematic in houses with a lot of
            electrical interference. They sometimes flicker if a major power surge occurs in the house, for some reason. A friend of mine had his wrapped in tin foil to avoid the problem, so that's probably the same situation that you have. If I come to move house I may have to consider an alternative.

              Jesus, for nearly a year I've wondered what that flicker was!!!

              It never even occurred to me it could be the switch box...

              Other than that I've never had any problems with mine.
