    Wireless router: recommendations

Apologies if this has been dealt with elsewhere, although I can't seem to find...

I'm getting a Wii and obviously want to take it online - a new experience for me!

Does anyone have any recommendations for a cheap 'n' cheerful wireless router that's guaranteed to work straight out of the box, without any need to faff with PC to reconfigure settings, downloads etc.?

Also, as I'll be using this purely for Wii, does anyone think it necessary to bother going with a secure WEP router?

And if the above questions are dumb, it's because I'm dumb...

Netgear DG834G will do you fine, and it's a nice matching white.
    Kept you waiting, huh?

I can vouch for the Netgear one that Joe speaks of. It even works with my AOL connection, which is saying something. have had absolutely zero problems with mine one it got up and running. That goes for my 360 and my DS too.

You can't really go wrong with THIS or THIS for £20.
Very easy to setup using a browser and very stable. Works a treat with Wii as well.
You won't find a wireless router that doesn't support some form of encryption today.
If you don't mind people using your wireless connection, inadvertantly or otherwise don't enable it.
It is so easy to enable though I don't know why you wouldn't.
