      In practice, I think Microsoft are very good about giving you a fresh code. You just say that you needed to replace your motherboard or something...

        So are u saying that my current XP Pro, which I bought from a shop cant be transfered onto another PC?

        I thought that an OEM version of an OS was the version that u got pre-loaded onto your PC when bought. i.e. not a proper version?.
