upgrade ps3 hard disc

Can the hard disc in ps3 be changed as thinking of getting a 20gig model ps3 cheap and just wondered if they can be upgraded to like 120gig

if so what interface do they use ide or sata and is it a 2.5 or 3.5 drive ?

Taken from the ntsc-uk PS3 FAQ:

Yes you can, as long as it's a SATA 2.5" HDD.

iirc the PS3 manual includes step-by-step instructions of how to replace the hdd. From what I remember it's dead simple.
