US PS3, UK Store and PS1 games

I have a US PlayStation3, and would like to purchase a PS1 game. Obv. I need to buy it from the UK store, so my question is would it work on my US PS3? I presume the UK PS1 games on the UK store are PAL?

I think you need US ps1 & ps2 games if you want them to work in your ps3. Only ps3 games are region free.

Scouring ebay is probably your best bet.

People are having problems with opening new wirecard accounts at the moment though...

If you're talking about disc based games then they won't work at the moment.
