why can't I play downloaded psone games

So, I've finally connected my psp to the ps3, and I already have crash bandicoot and jumping flash. However, when I select them it says not compatible with machine. I can watch trailers fine, but not play these games. Am I doing something wrong?

You have to link it the the PS3 and be using teh same account and stuff. Or something. I'll check later.
