Megadrive advice please

I know nowt about the Megadrive, other than my bro' in law mentioned that he fancied getting one recently.

Someone at work is selling a Megadrive 2 with 9 games for ?25. He claims it's in "excellent condition, works perfect. All leads etc Games are: Brian Lara Cricket. Fifa 97. NBA Jam. Premier Manager. Street Racer. Desert Strike. General Chaos. Micro Machines 2. Psycho Pinball."

Quick glance at eBay suggests this might be a bit pricey ... what do you think?

Any opinions on the games would also be welcome.

price is ok, especially if its boxed.

games aren't great though.

Papercut is right, although psycho pinball, micro machines 2 and desert strike are all good.

You arent getting ripped off, and if it is boxed I would say that is a good price (especially when you look at ebay prices and you have to add on P&P)

If it were a perfect nick Megadrive Mk1 + MM2 it would be a great deal.
As it stands its not a full-blown rip-off. Better deals come about with regularity - it's more about your patience.

desert strike is good but i would go buy a copy of toe jam & erl
