Seeing all my Blu-Rays have PCM sound, I was wondering if there was a suitably priced amp (ideally under ?200) that would be suitable. Any ideas?

Most budget amps only have HDMI video switching - they won't accept audio AND video over HDMIThe cheapest one that I think will work is the Onkyo 505. It's about £250 iirc. The next model up - the Onkyo 605 - will DEFINITELY work with it
Are you using it with a PS3 or another Bluray player? If it's a PS3 then you need one that accepts PCM over HDMI. If it's another then you can buy an amplifier with analogue inputs (up to 8 analogue RCA inputs for 7.1 audio). Something like this involves the player decoding the audio (or, with PCM, passing it straight through without processing/decoding) and outputting it over an analogue connection to an external amplifier

I have a ps3, so if the hdmi is going into this amp, how do I connect it to the TV via hdmi?

I bought an Onkyo 605 the other week and really didn't like it, the upconverting from component to HDMI was crap (massively oversatured with red). Ended up sending it back and getting a Sony STR-DG910 and I'm very happy with that one. £273 from hificonfidential and does everything i need.
