    Please Help. Buffalo Wireless Trouble

    Hello all,

I've been having a lot of hassle and very little luck with trying to create a wireless environment with my current connection type... I recently brought myself a shiny new Router (One that is supposedly ideal for getting my Nintendo Wii online) but the buggering thing still wont work...

I've got a NTL Cable Modem connection with Virgin Media. I brought Buffalo AirStation Wireless-G 125 High Speed Broadband ADSL2+.

... After asking for help, i found out that it isn't compatible with a cable modem... But it was suggested that, after a little tinkering, it is possible somehow.

Admittedly, i'm completely hopeless with anything like this. If all fails I?ll just have to sell the router (so, if anyone interested let me know )? But before I do that I would like to give all possibilities a try.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kindest regards,
    Adz

The problem is that this is a router and a modem built into one. I've had a quick look through the manual and there doesn't seem to be an obvious way of setting it up to route traffic from an ethernet (network) port to the other three.

Having said that, I'm no expert in these matters, not by a long shot, so it may be feasible.

      Okay, thanks mate.

I'm going to try my luck with the computer upstairs... If all else fails (like im sure it will) i'll just have to learn from this mistake and sell the buggering thing.
