    360 HD DVD owners?

Are you going to sell up?

Been offered ?90 for mine and not sure about taking it? Is it quite a certainty that BD will come out on top?

Off topic (slightly...) but if you do sell, and have any hd-dvds left, can you give me a shout? Cos guess what I'm about to buy....
    Cheers

I think the big question is: "How much do you value high definition Universal content as well as a few exclusive titles from Warner"?

Do you already have some way of playing BDs?

It wouldn't surprise me, especially in Europe, but judging on what's available, I don't see how. Everytime I browse movietyme looking for new films, there's hardly anything I actually want. Too many ****ty CGI blockbusters and not enough quality/classic stuff.

          Yep, on the PS3.

I'm quite wary of using the HD drive, as in my mind it will lead to 3 red lights.

Totally totally agree. All commercial ****e.

I'd gladly sell mine for £90!! I'd accept £70 for it tbh. If you can get £90 for it, then take it.

Not so much because I think Bluray will win, of course. More because the 360 add-on is absolutely useless for any kind of serious HD audio

Both formats are full of crap and I guess it comes down to which library of exclusives tempts you most. To be honest, right now, Harry Potter, The Matrix, Robin Hood, Casablanca, whatever other WB HD DVD exclusives there are, and the Universal catalogue, aren't enough to save HD DVD in my mind.

Again, this is just my personal preference because I favour Disney's (small) contributions to HD.

I wouldn't sell, purely cos I spent so much getting one in the first place. Even if BR comes out on top, it'll still play all the HD-DVD stuff I have, and maybe then I could get a ton of other discs cheap as everyone else sells

I don't buy the 'dead format' argument. If it's still got content you want to watch, who cares whether it's still current. But then again, I still look for laser disc collections on ebay

I agree, not much point in selling unless you really need the money. If not, well you can still use it to watch good movies in HD...

Personally I will get a Blu-Ray player at some point, probably in the form of a PS3 but I don't see any reason to limit myself to just that. If you had to pick one it might be a different matter but HD DVD has enough merit to be kept.

I sold mine a few weeks ago for the following reasons.

Only used it a few times
It didn't like the Weinstein discs
360 noise was for too intrusive (this was the main reason for selling)
DVD playback is better on the PS3
Blu-ray seems to be preferred choice now for most people
