    High Pitched Monkey Balls...

Ok, bit of an odd question and No, its nothing to do with me me being kicked in the genitals....

Ive been been getting quite a lot of gamecube games recently becuase getting a wii has made me want to play them again as i long since packed my gamecube away in its box so havent used the machine for a while.

I just received Super Monkey Ball 2 today and it constantly makes a high picthed whirling sound while the disk is spinning, I'd usualy think that its just becuase its second hand and the disk is a bit marked but I seem to remember when I had the original game ages ago It did the same thing, am I just nuts or is this some weird noise both these games make? Ive just bought the first one on ebay again too so I guess I will found out soon enough but was just wondering if anyone else had noticed this?

I'd like to know really as I think playing the game is killing my ear drums
