    UK in sept. Cheapest Wii?

    Hi,

I'll be in Cambridgeshire in September to christen our newest little half viking.

I want to pick up a Wii, with RE4, component leads, memory card (Can I use normal SD?) and that party game that used to come free?

Where should I buy this lot from, and what price should I pay?

    Any help appreciated!

About the best deal in the highstreet atm is a Wii with Wii Sports (in box obv) then another game for £199.99.

Any SD card will work so thats not an issue, component leads best bet is a 3rd party one unless you need official, official will set you back £25-£30 vs the £10 you can find 3rd party ones for.

The party game you're referring to is Wii Play, that is £34.99 with a second Wii remote included.

Think that should sort you out. As for where to go, GAME or GameStation are probably the best bets at the moment as they appear to be the only places doing any sort of bundle deals in the highstreet.

(S)he might be referring to Wii Sports. Whihc comes with the console.

But if you want an extra remote, Wii Play comes with a remote and is only ?5 more than the remote on its own, so is effectively ?5.

Capcom, why are you going down the PAL route? You'd be much better off importing a US one if you can.

I've been a staunch importer of Ninty stuff since the super famicom. I had a temporary mind melt and thought the promise of cheap PAL wii would be a good idea. TBM beat you too it, and PM'd me a little reminder of why I was an importer a few days back, and the shocking treatment that Nintendo gives the PAL region...

I then came to my senses and then put an order in online for an NTSC U/C unit, but thanks everyone for the PAL cheapness advice.

I blame the 360, it's shown me how PAL gamers should be treated, and I nearly let my guard down.
