    Wii not recognising controllers

    Hi,

I know this is easily solved - the manual explains how to do it. However, I have lost the manual and can't remember how to do it.

I changed the Wiimote batteries, and now the Wii won't recognise commands from the Wiimote. I remember the solution has something to do with the red button in the SD card flap, but trial and error has so far not been successful.

Can anyone tell me how to solve it? For information, it's a Japanese Wii.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart

You have to press both red buttons to re-sync the devices. The one on the Wii and the one under the Battery cover on your remote, it took me about 30 minutes to figure it out myself and I have a PAL Wii with English instructions.

Take the battery cover off your Wii remote. Turn the machine on, press the red button under the SD card slot, and THEN press the red button inside the battery compartment of the Wii remote. The player indicator lights on the Wii remote should start blinking. After a few moments they'll stop blinking, you'll get a solid Player 1 light, and the job's a good'un

If you have more than one remote you must repeat this procedure individually for each remote.
