DS Battery life

I brought a DS Lite on the weekend and although I'm having fun with it I'm concerned about the battery life.

When I got home I played on the DS for about half an hour and then stopped. I plugged it up for three hours as specified then eat the battery over Sunday after what felt like a short time playing it. I charged it overnight on Sunday. After use of about 4 - 5 hours over Monday till today the battery is flashing again.

Have I mucked it up or is the battery like this normally?

If you've got it on the brightest setting then I think battery life is fairly short (approx. 6-7hrs iirc). When the light starts flashing I'm sure you've still got about an hour or so's charge left.

Don't think there's really any way you could have mucked it up as it automatically stops charging once it's fully charged.

Cheers for the infomation, that puts my mind at rest.

I thought that due to me not charging it right away, I destroyed the full charging capacity of the DS's battery or some other reason.
