    Wii Sensor not that good?

Hmm I remeber when Wii first came out I saw some videos of it being used of how distant the wii sensor works.

I saw some people in the back of their livving room, some in their backgarden!

Mine seems to not work about 3 meteres away.
My sofa is about 3 maybe 4 metres away I think more 3 and I have to learn right forward and stick my arm right out to get te connection.

Its ok if me and friends are standing, but to relax and chill and play on sofa its uncomfortable.

Is this the real MAx of it or is my sensor not doing its job right?
I should look in the manual to see what its max distance is, surely its not 3 Metres.

I play mine about 5 or 6 meters back with no probs. Although i did find having it on top the TV better than under it.

You answered yourself on that one.

Adjust it's sensibility settings on the options menu.
Check for sources of light that may be interfering with it on the place you use it.
Find a better spot to place the sensor bar.

Mine works fine but I'm only working from a distance of 6-7 feet. It fouls up when the sun is shining though so I usually play in the evenings.

        Your rooms must be massive.

Your sensor is buggered or you have the settings wrong. Once you have placed it below or above the tv go into the settings and tell the wii where it is. Mines works anywhere in the room and from all angles. It is well documented though that it works better on top of the tv

Mine dosnet work if im right up to the tv, which makes sense really.

Besides that never had a problem with the sensor bar. Mine works from the garden

Either you have other interfering IR sources or your Sensitivity isn't turned up enough in the Wii options.
