Wireless Router / Virgin Media Q's

Hiya im planning on gettin a 20mb virgin media line put in this week, however im slightly confused .
For the 20mb it says a phone line is needed on the website, is this true as none of the others list it as neccessary?

Secondly a wireless router: will a 'N' router acctually make a difference to than a none 'N' one?

Any advice on which routers are currently best??

The actual 20MB net connection is via cable, so you don't NEED a phone line, although they may demand you have one of theirs to go with it.

N routers are based upon a non finalised specification for a wireless protocol, so very little hardware actually supports this.
You'd be better off getting a good quality G router.
