Transfering a Gamerscore

I'm buying an Elite soon and have a Premium at the moment that I'm going to trade in. I have been on live before and have currently got a gamerscore of about 190 according to MS. See the thing is I only had a live trial and now I have a larger score but since I haven't been online they don't know about it.

Well I tried to go on Live today just to update it, but I keep getting an error, spent ages trying to fix no luck. Hoping I can sort it when I change ISP from TalkTalk to BT.

But I'm getting an Elite soon so will trade my Premium, but if I haven't been on Live will I lose my score. I'm gonna copy all my saves over via memory card. So when I boot the game will it suddenly be achievment unlocked and give me a large score again.

Sounds confussing, sorry. Is there anyway to copy a profile/gamerscore to a memory card and transfer that over?

Go to the memory manager thing on the system blade and find the one that says gamerprofile.
Copy your profile (gamercard) to the memory card and you are ready to go.
All achievement info is stored within your gamercard
