Hey I purchased this cable the other day...
I bought it so I could transfer the data between Golden Sun 1 and 2 without the hassle of that awful password. I have one Game Boy Micro and a regular GBA.
Problem is I can't get any response from either game to indicate the connection is working, and no transfer happens. There are two Micro ports and two GBA ports on it and they're numbered Player 1-4. However player 1+2 are both micro connections so I can only use the combinations 1/3 1/4 2/3 and 2/4 but none work at all.
The cable is laid out like this.
1P Micro-------------Middle connector bit---------------2P Micro
3P GBA --------------****************-------------4p GBA
Is the problem that I need to be using ports 1 and 2 for a two player game? If so what is the point in advertising a GBA to GBM cable if you need to have at least three players to utilize the GBA-GBM connection?
Gah. Any ideas?
