i want to get a castlevania but i don't know which one

Symphony of the Night is a superb ps1 game, but now very expensive.
Super Castlevania on the SNES is still a classic and if you have a GBA you can't go wrong with Aria of Sorrow

One of my all time favs will always be Symphony of the Night. The soundtrack is one of the few game related ones that are actually worth buying too. That sweet sound in the chapel... Highly recommended title.

Super Castlevania IV remains one of my favourite games ever. It totally stands up today, too - Superb game, with an awesome soundtrack.

Still the best Castlevania ever, in my opinion.

If you're looking for the new Metroid-style gameplay, I reckon that Aria of Sorrow on the GBA is probably the best one around, SotN excepted. But SotN is expensive and hard to find, and AoS is practically just as good. I'd recommend it.

Or, if you want the old style Castlevania gameplay, Super Castlevania IV is definitely the tops. Unless you happen to get a copy of Rondo Of Blood. But... no.

your talking ?40 - ?50 but only if it has the soundtrack and art book.

you can pick up the ntsc (us/jap) for about ?30 on ebay from us sellers though
