Just realised a non-feature for wii! Shambles!

Maybe it's my fault not reading manuals....

I never do! I just crack open games, electronics etc and blast head in first.

But some strange reason, I kinda thought Nintendo Would think "Not everyone owns a Cube" and some wii owners might wanna play some cube games.....
And seeing as not many stores sell Cube pads anymore.. part from cheap breakable with a flick "Game" 3rd party ones then they will have to use whats at best and thats a classic controller....

But from buying Time Splitters 2 at gamestation pre-owned for the Cube today, for some Multiplayer Mayhem (Wii just not providing me in that factor on current releases).
I plug 4 wii-motes up, and classics. Get ready with my friends/family to be amazed that the wii mote cuts off once it loads a Cube game.

Now..... I am actaully so astonished that we can't use Classic Controllers it made me feel pretty dam upset.

Unless I'm doing somethign wrong, i really kinda took it on CC would work with Cube games seeing as some or alot of people never owned a cube and just the wii won't ahve access to Cube controllers.

So am I correct in saying Cube games only work if a cube pads plugged in?!?!

Pretty harsh way of trying to make money......

Dam it, cant take Pre-owned back nither

    lol

I just discovered this today; quite annoyed really, as there's no reason they shouldn't (and why does the CC have the spongy shoulder buttons if not for GC games??). Was hoping I could use the nice d-pad for Panel De Pon, but apparently not!

Well im guessing the spongy buttons are used for wii games that use the classic controller. No idea which ones but im guessing some do?

Im not even sure the gc is linked to the wii as after you activate the gc side all remote functions turn off, you have to get up & reset the machine if you want to play wii stuff again.
