3rd Party Wii Psu Shenanigans.

Got myself a 3rd party UK PSU for my US Wii, chinese made one. (On the recomendation of someone here).

When using it i can't get a picture from the Wii, and then i switch back to the 110v one into a stepdown, and the picture is there.

Also, when playing the 360 with the UK psu still attached, the interference is terrible.

What could be the reason for this? Not enough volts getting to the Wii? The tv is a Panasonic lcd, which maybe thinks the Wii isn't there, as it gave me similar **** with my N64, via scart.

I'm using a 3rd party PSU on my JPN Wii fine...sounds like it's a fault in yours though if the original+stepdown works

Yeah I'm using a 4rd party one, no problems at all.
Are you using one of those farmer switch boxes also?

I am yes, which then goes into an Audio Authority one.

Really odd. I can hear the sound of the Wii, just no picture.
