ahhhh the beauty of quality headphones.

if noise is doing your nut in, just pick up some sennys(595 etc) and listen to awsome sound.

Having to wear headphones doesn't really appeal, but it is a consideration. I've just ordered a nice pair of Goldring DR150's too which might be alright for games.

Still think i'll just update my PC though, I want to play Fallout 3 on the PC as its meant to be played and with access to the modding community.

A little off topic but has anybody ever tried surround headsets? I'm half considering getting one if they are OK.

Sure there is a thread on them here, think outcome was that they are good - if you spend a decent amount of money on them. You get what you pay for basically.
