    360 invites not working

Hi all, this is an odd problem and I wondered if anyone here has had the same thing.

Me and my brother play 360 games together a lot. We usually go into private chat and invite each other to games. For months it has worked fine but now it won't.

If we invite each other to a private chat it won't join at all. If we invite each other to games it says that it has failed (tried on Tenchu Z and R6 Vegas).

This has happened on several different evenings.

It first started happening when I got an Elite. We hadn't played together for a week or so before that however so the Elite may have nothing to do with it.

My brother's 360 is on the way out, it has regular dirty disk errors and he'll be replacing it soon so I'm wondering if it has anything to do with that?

I have been able to accept invites from other players to their games fine during the time I haven't been able to connect to my brothers.

So my questions are: has anyone ever had an issue like this and does anyone know of a problem like this resulting from the Elite or from a machine that is getting dirty disk errors (i.e. a nearly borked machine)?

It's an odd problem so any insight would be appreciated

Incompaibtle nat settings it sounds like to me. Get your router's all port forwarded and DMZ'd and whatnot.

If at least one of you has an open NAT then you should at least be able to connect to each other, although ideally if you are both sorted ou then LIVE will work better anyway.

          Try www.portforward.com

There are very good guides for loads of different routers (provided yours isn't too obscure). If you don't find yours, look at another one for the relevant ports.
