    playstation store sign-up nightmare

Having finally got my PS3 online I signed up to the Playstation store - entered my card details etc. However, when I try to sign in again I can't get past my security question (place of birth). I can only think I entered a letter wrongly or added a space, but I've tried many variations of Oxford in upper and lower case and nothing works.

Can anyone suggest a way round this? I asked on the PS store but recieved an Australian helpline number - the UK site doesn't seem to have one.

Dont know what to suggest really mate. Can you cancel the account, and start from scratch?

I don't think I can start again. I know it's rather stupid to get your security question wrong, but surely there is a way out somehow?

Could I sign up again on a PSP then transfer this account, or is the Store PS3 only?

Any help would be much appreciated. Goes back to entering oxfford, Ooxford etc ...

Store is PS3 only, sure there is a way to reset passwords etc in the manual, will check in a mo - yes I was so bored at work I actually read the manual today.

It prompts me to reset the password every now and again, but then asks me the security question and I'm stuck. How did I manage to get "Oxford" so wrong that all my deliberately wrong renderings don't match what I first entered? That's what I keep asking myself ...

It's ok now, but I don't know why. I did a year's training to be a programmer once, but I still find it hard to navigate simple systems.

Thanks for the help, it's good to get more than you deserve sometimes ...

No problem, thought you'd have to resign up to be honest, if it came to it, couldn't imagine them giving you enough info over the phone to log-in/reset it.
