Will Gaamecube games play through component on Wii?

Hi there,

I have a Wii and i would like to play my Gamecube games on it vi a component signal but will Gamecube games play in progressive scan mode through the Wii component cable? or is my only option to buy a Gamecube again and a D-Terminal cable?

They work fine over Component, but only games that have Progressive Scan mode will run Progressive. Interlaced games work fine over Component anyway though.

Where can i find a list of Gamecube games that have progressive scan modes?

Be aware no PAL game has Progressive mode.
