Cheapest 360 premium?

I don't know if this counts as a technical service but anyway...

I'm considering getting a 360 finally and would like some advice on where to get one? Amazon is obviously the usual port of call but I was wondering if there are any places doing it cheaper?

I'm not bothered with any bundles or such like, just a premium 360 for as low as possible?

As an aside if I bought a 360 now have any of its componants been upgrade at all? Such as a quieter cd drive etc? I heard tell that this may have happened and if so I'd rather snag one of them..

The elites have had some upgrades (quiter cd drive, not much though, and improved cooling of some kind) premiums are due the upgrades but afaik it hasnt happend yet. Woolworths had packages for Premiums plus Blue Dragon/Bioshock for £249

it only seems to be instore though, although they do have the consoles for £249 on the site.

I know you said you're not really bothered about bundles but I think most of the better deals with the Premium 360 are actually bundles unless you want a pre-owned one. Always worth checking the Gamestation deals, in-store and online.

Whats the general opinion on the premium vs elite 360s? Are the internals changes worth the extra ?50? Couldn't give a stuff about the colour but any noise reduction and reliability increase is of interest to me.

I don't think there's a difference anymore, since the premiums now have HDMI.
