just wondering if there is any signal loss

I've not used that one but i can recommend the Farmer switcher that Lik-sang sold. There's usually some floating around the usual spots.

For £15 perhaps you can afford to give it a try and report back?
However, the farmer one on playasia is ok. Some people report interference. It works fine for me.

I bought the same one Charlesr has in the Play-Asia link and can also confirm it works perfectly for me.

I've got my 360 and ps2 running through it at the moment and it's perfect

I'm interested in that ebay one, looks to be the sort of thing I've wanted for a long time for my PS2, XBox and GC. No optical input/output but apart from that seems ideal.

Anybody have further info? For instance is it a passive or powered?

I'll buy it guys and let you know the results

the farmer was no good to me; wavey interference and colours muted.

The farmer box has very cheap and nasty component leads that you are forced to use to link it to the TV. I blame this on the interference it was giving me.

I should be able to give some impressions of the other one soon (you use your own cables, so i'm expecting it to be better)

Managed to get it and test it with several sources.

no ghosting/interference and looks spot on!

ps I'm using £30 belkin component leads though

Is it a passive or powered switcher I don't think it mentions that in the blurb?
