    Probably a stupd question but...

Have just moved into my first house and am having trouble connecting my TV.

In my old house the TV just plugged into the aerial lead that basically came with the house (through the wall via the roof)

My new house has the aerial socket but no lead and I dont have an aerial lead with the TV. Any ideas what I would need to buy to connect my TV to the aerial socket. Seen some leads on Argos but not 100% they are what I need.

Told you it was a stupid question!

You need a standard arial lead, also called "RF" lead or "coaxial", tho the later not to be confused with a digital connection lead..........sunt like this.

You need a standard TV lead. Male to Male. Show us the link on argos and we'll confirm. edit: what he said.

I don't think that one Baseley linked to will work. I think both the socket on the wall and the one in the TV are female, so you need a cable with male at both ends. Look at your wall and TV

Could be right, the cable sets in asda come with male/female adaptors prolly easiest to just go get one from your local supermarket they'll have everything you need for ?6 or so.
