simple tekken 5 Q

Hi been thinking of getting tekken 5 now for a while and was wondering is there any difference between the different regions or anything.

One version has Japanese text.

Apart from that there's apparently very little difference. I asked a similar thing on Gamefaqs recently as I was a bit unhappy about the widescreen presentation T5 offers. I was hoping it was something to do with the PAL version but it wasn't unfortunately. I was assured the NTSC US and JAP versions were the same in almost every respect.
